GMC Hummer is sold to Chinese
After already Opel was separated from the American company General
Motors, the U.S. government now plans to divide the entire company.
Only then will the future of the automaker could be secured.
To survive, General Motors may need to be separated and the
daughter of brands are sold. This includes Pontiac, Saab and Saturn.
Even Hummer belongs to the group and will now be sold to the Chinese.
The actual sale will, however, be completed until September. The buyer
is the Chinese private company Tengzhong heavy GmbH with its seat in
the province of Sichuan. This company would be the first to make a
contribution to the American car market and buys a brand. For the first
of June, the company had filed bankruptcy and only one days later, the
purchase was announced. The sum will amount to 500 million U.S.
dollars. The Chinese company is only since 2005 and could still rapidly
expanding. The purchase of the Hummer brand will contribute to a rapid
growth. Although the LLC has no experience when it comes to assembling
and manufacturing of SUVs, but this will change with the merger of
General Motors.
It has also already signed a contract that the brand remains
completely lobster. Both the construction, as well as in marketing and
administration, General Motors will spread the LLC under the arms. The
merger will save the U.S. so 3000 job vacancies. The production thus
remains largely in the U.S.. The Chinese company wants to adapt but at
the current environmental problems and develop energy-saving products.
This will be the Hummer of the next generation. Through the useful
investments, the company will progress, and even the experts see the
merger as a success.
